It’s that time of the year again.Tis’ the season of hauling enormous September issues to read on the subway , trying on decadently soft camel coats even though the weather won’t be cold enough until November anyway and ingurgitating anything with a hint of pumpkin spice. Ok so maybe I am a tad early , but since we are almost the first of September , I figured I would just elaborate on what I would want to be wearing this fall now. And that’s anything plaid and/or that makes me look anything remotely similar to Daria Werbowy. Although I am not sure if I have one rebellious/cool/Daria fiber in my body , maybe I can scrounge up enough to curate the ideal Saint-Laurent grungy Parisienne aesthetic (maybe). Here’s a little inspiration straight from the good people at French , American , UK Vogue and a little bit of Zara and Saint-Laurent.
Last Sunday Maureen and I took a few images to start off the summer right. We just headed outside and soaked up the sun near the pool . On that note , I am wishing you all an exquisite summer filled with as many adventures , mojitos and sunshine possible!

Here are a few images that inspire me at the moment , since I am getting my prom dress for next spring custom made and the design-creation-yada- yada-yada process starts in about four weeks. I know it’s very early , but I figured “hey , this is fun , pourquoi pas?” I am thinking a low back , a little Michelle Pfeiffer circa Scarface ,in black or ivory. Also , a little Rihanna and glitter never hurt anybody…
My favorite image of this week’s belated Miscellaneous is the last one from Vogue Paris, featuring Tom Ford’s jewelry collection . The one thing I possibly like more than the images of this editorial is this quote form Tom Ford :
“I am tired of the cult of youth. The cultural rejection of old age, the stigmatization of wrinkles, grey hair, of bodies furrowed by the years. I am fascinated by Diana Vreeland, Georgia O’Keeffe and Louise Bourgeois, women who have let time embrace them without ever cheating. Society today condems this, me, I celebrate it. For this session of fine jewellery, I imagined a man and a woman who had been together for a long time, faithful to each other and always incandescent with desire.”
Women are all beautiful , no matter what age , confidence is the best thing a woman could wear.
As you may or may not know , today is Wednesday and therefore , I’ve got some new miscellaneous images from you. As you may be able to tell , I really want the summertime to come quick .With less than a month of school left I can’t help wanting ice cream, a tan , wearing short shorts and just enjoying every moment of blissful weather.
All images are not mine , you can find them all on my Tumblr which is where I got them and the sources are on there .
Spring has sprung and I am trying something new here on WWWD. Wednesdays are sometimes boring , not quite close enough to the weekend but a long way from Monday . To improve this somewhat mediocre day , I want to share what’s inspiring me , what I’ve been thinking about or things I just find interesting. The chosen images are from my Tumblr , the best place for me to gather inspiration. That being said , tracing the exact source is difficult but if the images are yours please ,please let me know.
This week , it’s everything from Abby Lee’s badass Met Ball look to neon lights and swimming pools.
*note: these images are not mine , all images are on my Tumblr , I them reblogged them from various other blogs.
Just a little peek at Anja’s S Moda El Pais editorial , my two favorite images actually. I love the fresh , soft and summery vibes these images give off . Anja just looks so elegant at the same time as being completely disheveled. She looks so calm I have really been looking to Anja for hair inspiration lately , she has that short-but-not-too-short goodness I want paired with the perfect shade of sunny blond.
Also , there will be more and more outfit shots of me , Maureen and I are trying to take images at least once a week and putting inspiration together for a baby editorial . Hopefully , the more we shoot , the less akward I get.
In the midst of a “where is my hairbrush? Where did my slipper-like flats go? Do I really need all my rings?” packing frenzy, I wanted to share with you that tonight, I am off to the land of Alexander Wang and Breakfast at Tiffany’s for a weekend of art galleries , shopping and just enjoying the spring in my favorite city. I just love how vast the city is , how there is always something new to look at ,a new street to walk down a new café to try. There really is not anything that compare’s to the invigorating energy New York has , to me it’s the perfect way to welcome spring. Here are just a few inspiring images to get me in the NY mood.
I will try to update as much as I can this weekend but until then, happy long weekend!

Sorry I have not been blogging all week , my schedule has been sort of disrupted lately but , I have definitely had time to gather and things will be back to normal here.
Even though, I am not one to wear sparlkes or anything remotely glittery but , a coppery gilded look is so appealing to me .Pairing gold , copper and bronze toned pieces with a more demure look reminds me of something a caracter from a Scott Fitzgerald novel would wear circa 2013. The contrast between grime and opulence creates the most perfect deconstructed glamourous aesthetic.
P.S: I am also seriously considering this velvety lava-like eyeshadow from Armani in Cuivre Noir for archiving Caroline Murphy’s look in french Vogue.
Covering March’s W magazine are classic beauties Kate Moss, Lara Stone and Natalia Viadonova , proving that the fashion industry’s supermodel trifecta is still going strong. The opulent jewel tones add strength while the flowers and silk make the images softer ,more feminine. Color is not usually my kind of thing , but jewel tones look surprisingly good on lots of skin tones so I may consider after seeing these. These images exude such luxury , from glowing skin to luscious clothes , how could one not be jealous?
