Last Sunday Maureen and I took a few images to start off the summer right. We just headed outside and soaked up the sun near the pool . On that note , I am wishing you all an exquisite summer filled with as many adventures , mojitos and sunshine possible!

If you did not know already ,I have a thing for nineties supermodels. There is just something hypnotic about Shalom Harlow through the lens of Paolo Roversi that just speaks for itself. The abscence of color makes Shalom look even more stunning than usual , bringing out her peircing eyes and sharp features.
As you may or may not know , today is Wednesday and therefore , I’ve got some new miscellaneous images from you. As you may be able to tell , I really want the summertime to come quick .With less than a month of school left I can’t help wanting ice cream, a tan , wearing short shorts and just enjoying every moment of blissful weather.
All images are not mine , you can find them all on my Tumblr which is where I got them and the sources are on there .
Spring has sprung and I am trying something new here on WWWD. Wednesdays are sometimes boring , not quite close enough to the weekend but a long way from Monday . To improve this somewhat mediocre day , I want to share what’s inspiring me , what I’ve been thinking about or things I just find interesting. The chosen images are from my Tumblr , the best place for me to gather inspiration. That being said , tracing the exact source is difficult but if the images are yours please ,please let me know.
This week , it’s everything from Abby Lee’s badass Met Ball look to neon lights and swimming pools.
*note: these images are not mine , all images are on my Tumblr , I them reblogged them from various other blogs.
I find the mixing of mediums in these images by Hunter and Gatti quite inspiring , a perfect mixture of abstract art and photography. I love the way the painting does not interfere with the photos and vice versa , they just seem to compliment and complete each other. The contrast between sheerness and opacity is very well done and the way the model’s face sort of peers through the busy painting without swallowing it is beautiful.Juxtaposing abstract painting with fashion is basically the yellow brick road to my heart.
Happy Friday , hope this inspired you for the weekend
Last year , a guy asked me “do you know what a snap-back is?”and dumbfounded , I responded that I though it was some kind of back-pack , obviously ignorant when it came to menswear ( P.S : if you have as much knowledge on what snap-backs are as I did at the time , it’s the kind of baseball caps that are flat in the front and have snaps in the back) .But since then I have grown to know what they are and maybe ,just maybe ,wear one , even if I hate they way they make men look .Honestly , I am still repelled by snap-backs on men ,so me doing a post on how I like the way they look on women makes me the biggest hypocrite but , whatever. I am not really keen yet on a full-fledge super colorful cap , it’s still a little too “swag” for me ( pardon my illeteracy , I don’t really know how else to put it). Maybe it’s my constant constant listening to A$AP Rocky’s new album that’s bringing out my tough side , but I am loving the way a baseball cap looks . It’s the easiest way I can think of to make an otherwise more formal outfit casual . Perfect for summer when the humidity in Montreal turns my hair into an unruly mess , I can just slick back my hair into one of these and pray to look a little like Caroline Brasch.
This editorial by Hugh Lippe for Exit Magazine is one of the best editorials I have seen in a while. The dark , the slicked back hair ,the androgynous styling , every detail about this images are perfect. Kasia Struss is one of the best models in the buisness right now and she has a great off-duty style , simple but not boring. The juxtapostion of smoke , a black-gray scheme and masculine aesthetic creates very strong images . Basically these photos sum up my fantasy wardrobe in a few images.
Why is it the first time I see Bo Don? I had never heard of her before now but I am glad I did. She reminds me of Rooney Mara in The Girl With A Dragon Tatoo, which was probably my favorite movie of 2012 , since I had read all of Steig Larsson’s novels. Shot by Dancian for Zoo Magazine.
Yesterday was a perfect day for just walking around in cozy sweaters and coats . The sky was a perfect match with the historical buildings in Old Montreal. If you are wondering what I am wearing , it’s all Zara , head to toe. Kind of pathetic but I promise I didn’t do purpose.
All the pictures are taken by Maureen Rouge , check out her Tumblr for more of her work . You won’t be disappointed!
So yesterday me , my photographer friend Maureen and our gorgeous model ,Sandrine , had a photoshoot. I was styling it,I must say it wasn’t really about the clothes. We wanted to really capture her beauty so I decided for a simple black Alexander Wang dress. All photo credits to Maureen Rouge so go check out her amazing tumblr!
